As an educational tool, SANTEC offers its customers webinars on various topics.

What is a webinar?
A webinar is a web-based seminar (also called "e-seminar"). A trainer gives a live presentation including audio comment which you can follow from your local computer/laptop at your site.

What are the webinar advantages and benefits?

  • A webinar is a live presentation with a "real" trainer, thus it is not a pre-recorded session. This gives you the opportunity to ask live questions via a chat room which will then be answered by the trainer.
  • Since the webinars are web-based, you can follow the session from your computer or laptop in the office, at home, in a hotel or anywhere else. So you don't need to travel to attend this training session which saves you time and money.
  • Webinars are convenient to attend: All you need to have is an Internet connection and a speaker or headset to listen to the audio comment (VoIP is not supported).
  • The webinars are free-of-charge, i.e. SANTEC doesn't charge any attendance fees.
  • Each webinar lasts approx. 45-60 minutes. Hence you only need to spare a little time to attend.
  • After the webinar, each attendee receives a participation certificate and the presented slides.

Hence webinars are a simple, convenient and user-friendly way to keep up-to-date with the latest technical developments, new technologies and products for video surveillance applications. So don't miss it!

At what time do the webinars take place?
Each webinar starts at 16.00 CET (Berlin / Paris time) and lasts approx. 45-60 minutes.

How to ask questions during the webinar?
During the webinar, i.e while the trainer is giving his presentation, you may ask questions at any time using the Netviewer chat function. Just type-in your questions or comments and the trainer will answer (either also by chat or verbally).
VoIP is not supported for audio questions.

How to register for a webinar?
It is essential that you first register for a webinar in order to be able to attend it.

How to attend a webinar?
Once we have received your registration, we will send you an e-mail confirmation a few days before the scheduled webinar. In this e-mail confirmation, you will receive a session number and further information on how to logon to the webinar session. Then go to the webpage "Attend a webinar now" and follow the instruction there.
