Digital transmission

Digital transmission systems represent the future of CCTV. We have recognised this trend and offer an innovative solution in the form of the FlexWatch camera series. These colour network cameras are disigned to function in intranets and the internet. The cameras come complete with wall mount and power adapter and work straight out-of-the-box. Standard connectors (RJ-45) for RS-232, RS-485 (PTZ), LAN (ethernet) and I/O ports ensure easy connectivity to external devices such as modems, networks etc.

The FlexWatch colour network cameras have a built-in webserver which transmits 25 images/sec. as a compressed M-JPEG signal in TCP/IP based networks. FlexWatch cameras are particularly suitable for applications where a camera needs to be connected quickly and without much ado, but additional cables cannot be laid. An existing company network is all that is needed to transmit camera images along a LAN (Local Area Network) to a PC using a web browser or to a CCTV Network.

The CAM-50/1 model has 1 video input to allow the connection of a further video source, such as a dome camera. CAM-100/1 has 3 video inputs which allow you to connect additional video surveillance cameras e.g. dome systems. In this way the CAM-100/1 becomes a videoserver and images from all connected cameras can be recalled over the network. Both models are equipped with a 1/3" CCD chip, a 6 mm lens with 1 Lux sensitivity as well as a composite video output. The CAM-1100 model has a built-in 4 mm fixed focal length lens.
