SANTEC BW AG has become BURG-GUARD GmbH!

Since the company was founded in 1974, our brand has stood for competence and service. In the five decades since then, SANTEC has developed into one of the leading companies for video security in the industrial, commercial and government sectors.

SANTEC was founded in 1974, at that time as Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG. Since June 2012, the company has been operating under the name SANTEC BW AG, now part of the BURG-WÄCHTER Group under the name BURG-GUARD GmbH.

The decision to merge and integrate into the BURG-WÄCHTER family gives us the opportunity to include the products from the video surveillance segment in our overall product range. Thereby we would like to secure additional market shares, to establish ourselves increasingly and to position ourselves clearly.

The BURG-WÄCHTER Group is an owner-managed family business that has been holding its own in the market for over 100 years. As a supplier of smart homes, locks, access controls, mailboxes, door and window locks, safes and cash boxes, the Group is one of the leading international manufacturers in the security sector.

The new company name opens up many new opportunities for us and thus for you in the future. The foundation stone has been laid and will gradually open up new perspectives and thus further customer groups.
